Oakland International will host its first of a series of dedicated Brexit Seminars in Birmingham on Wednesday 28th February 2018.
The Birmingham seminar will cover topics including: Customs and Brexit, Port Health, AEO Trusted Trader Status, Food Safety, WTO and Tariff Classification, Clandestine Activity, Simplifications, Threats, Rules of Origin and post Brexit Business Opportunities.
Heading Oakland’s professional Brexit team will be Robert Hardy, a former Director of P&O Ferries and EurotunnelPlus, with his last 5 years spent developing and running the largest 24hour Customs clearance station in the UK, based at the Port of Dover. Robert is also an advisor to the Institute for Government on matters relating to Customs and Brexit, a funded Brexit advisor for InterTradeIreland (including InvestNI) and a registered expert with the EU Commission on matters relating to international trade and modal shift.
