Oakland’s chilled storage facilities provide around 10,000 pallet spaces. Products are typically stored between +2 and +5 degrees and we can cater for bespoke requirement if necessary. All stock is managed by a high tech RF warehouse management stock system which recognises and records products as they are received and dispatched - ensuring full traceability of products in chilled food storage at all times.
Chilled Food Consolidation
Oakland specializes in case and pallet consolidation. A chilled case consolidation scheme allows various suppliers to share a pallet space for chilled food distribution, into all UK retailers and every sector of the food industry. This not only provides huge savings for them on distribution costs, but also reduces carbon footprint.
